Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 200
Interesting that you haven't bothered to read it and are criticising it. Ever heard of how useful farting in the wind is? No, why don’t you tell me. Also, everything that’s in this issue you’ve read about before so I don’t need to read it. Space War - already an article. Mario 64 - already been an ...

History of Video Games - Book Recommendations
Hi folks, I am after some recommendations for a book for my son. I want to buy him a good book about the history of video games. However, I want the book to be from more of a UK/European or worldwide perspective, rather than a North American perspective. In other words, I would like: Good coverage o...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 199
Did anyone else get this yesterday? I must say it's a absolutely smashing cover! Fantastic article on DOOM - that was my 1st read of the day. Then the great Gauntlet the Deeper Dungeons - very good indeed. The C64 version was fantastic. The History of Alien Videogames - Not fully read it but can't ...

I gave up looking. Ordered a copy from the website in the end. Still waiting for it.

Still not available in Stourbridge Tesco or W H Smith. Good job it is not ten years ago or I would be most agitated by now.

Re: Subs Department Epic Failure
Well done antsbull for not entitling this threat “Epic Fail”. Just wanted to say that. I hate the way that American culture is slowly but surely turning all verbs into nouns, in order to save on syllables.

No way, Pedro! In fact, could we please remove ALL post-16bit content from the magazine, thanks. Bloomin modern 3D stuff! No!
Right, I'm off to play Rocket League.

Re: Why do you hate your readers?
The magazine has already done Back to the Eighties and Back to the Nineties. Some complained when it jumped around, so it became a chronological feature. Personally, I don't bother reading Back to the Noughties. I am of that age where that partucular period is of little interest to me. I would MUCH...

Re: The Star Wars thread
Just got drawn into reading some YouTube comments about who likes this Star Wars film, and who hates that Star Wars film. Not a good place to spend any time! ...so I thought I'd dig out this thread. Anyway it seems a surprising amount of people (with little understanding of grammar and punctuation) ...

Re: Jean-Michel Jarre - Equinoxe Infinity - Out November 16th
Wow. Didn't know about this. Equinoxe is my favourite Jarre album. Don't really like his post 90's stuff except for Oxygene vol3, which really grew on me. Think I'll have to get this!

Re: From The Forum issue 187 - Favourite SNK game
I would have to choose one of the Metal Slug games. Probably MS3 because it was a bit different to the others. I understand some people disliked it for that reason, but not me.

Re: Xbox One Mouse And Keyboard Support: The Potential
Personally, I like console gaming mainly because it DOESN'T use a mouse and keyboard. Sitting at a desk with a mouse and keyboard feels a bit too much like being at work for me, these days. Each to their own, I suppose...
