Re: Your Top 5 Games Of All Time

Tough one because some are my favourites because of nostalgic reasons or for reasons other than just the game. There are many others that I like just as much as those mentioned here, but it said 5 so here you go: Zelda: OOT The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind PowerSlave/Exhumed Street Fighter 2 System Sh...

Re: PowerSlave/Exhumed: and why it needs to be exhumed

Fair comments guys, though I was silly in that I didn't specify that it was mainly overlooked from a mainstream perspective rather than those like ourselves who are much better informed (exception being myself as I have forgotten a lot). Thanks for the comments. I don't expect the petition to go any...

PowerSlave/Exhumed: and why it needs to be exhumed

Anyone have a particular game that they feel was overlooked and still hasn't received the credit that was due? I can think of a few, but some of these have gone on to become cult classics (Beyond Good and Evil for example). I'm doing a project to get a certain game the recognition it sadly wasn't gi...

Apparently the Japanese version is somehow a lot better on the Saturn. Don't ask me how that works.
Yeah I heard that too actually but have no idea how that could be tbh.

Think I went to the one in Manchester a couple of years ago, but don't remember much about it - was too drunk. Hope you guys had fun though :D

Re: Am I the only one...

No it's relative. Guys who grew up in the 60s think so and so while those who grew up in the 70s think otherwise. That's my view on things. You must have been a nineties boy to think that (no offence).

Right you may need a bar of soap handy to wash your eyes out afterwards, but if anyone can get this then well done :D

Re: Screenshot challenge.

Bloody hell. I'm shocked at how many of these I don't know.. I used to think I knew and played a LOT of games. You lot are too hard core for me. :) Same here. It's very weird. Part of my brain thinks it 'knows' a lot about games, but in reality I've forgotten far more than I remember; I just still ...

Hello. Not much to say really. A former avid gamer that became disillusioned a number of times during the last decade or so. Used to frequent the original EDGE forum until it went to the sh*tter much like everything else. Spend most of my time wondering about the place now; don't really know why to ...

Re: Anachronox

Yeah I do, though never got to play it. It was the final nail in John Romero's coffin as a once respectable programmer if I remember. Amazing how his and Carmack's careers were polar opposites.
