Re: Subscriptions magazine cover options
I cant understand why there can only be one cover. No one at Retro Gamer has ever explained the reasoning when the topic comes up. To use the word collectable is just to sell it to us as it's no more collectable than the issue in the shop. Surely if the majority of people dont want a subscriber cove...

Re: The future of video games and their players
Don't play many modern games at all. This just sounds ridiculous. Next you'll buy a game, pay a subscription and never have to ever play the damn thing at all let a lone bother loading it.

Looking forward to reading The History of Green Beret, Story of Prince Of Persia Sands of Time, In the Chair with Reg Stevens, The Making of Moon, License To Thrill Evil Dead and the article on Arcade Heaven looks like a g...

Re: Questions for Betty 'Quantum' Ryan Tylko
Was you treated differently being a woman in a very male dominated world and how did you approach changing people's views and outdated beliefs. Or was you able to use this to your advantage? Have you thought of getting back into making games, especially as retro gaming is becoming more and more popu...

Re: When did the paper quality of the magazine get so terrible?
I think the paper quality changed within a few months after Future Publishing took over from Imagine 4 years ago. There was a few forum posts about it at the time

Re: Issue 212
Have had post every day since Wednesday so doubt it's because of no post. With regard to saying it could be down to the website change. This I presume is just the front end changing names and style. It's still owned and run by Future Publishing and unless they've changed the distribution side, I can...

Re: Issue size
Oh, has the pandemic passed and we're back to normal now? I must have missed that. Theres no need to be sarcastic. I wasn't being nasty, just pointing out that back in July Darren stated the magazine was back to normal. That's why the free digital editions were stopped soon after. However that's no...

Re: Issue size
3 issues later and still down to 100 pages. Can someone from the magazine please confirm if this is going to stay like this or that plans are afoot to go back to normal. Considering I last subscribed under the promise of Darren that page count would return!!!

Issue size
Darren said last month that the magazine wad back to normal. Just received the latest issue and it's still a bit thin. Again only 100 pages and not the usual 116. Is future using this as an excuse to reduce content without reducing price or will it go back up in size soon.

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 208 - Back to the 80s
Favourite issue for a while, loved the Myst article and the Back to the 80's. Darren, you say things are getting back to normal, does that mean we get our 14 or more pages back or will it be used as an excuse to keep the page count down.

Did you get to meet Dailey Thompson and / or did he have any say in the games development?

Re: From the Forum - Issue 205: Sega vs Nintendo
Has to be Sega. Never owned neither but can remember spending many a summer at my sister and brother in laws house playing on their Sega Genesis and getting wooped at Hockey and Evander Hollyfield. Great times thanks Mike and Paula.
