Re: From the forum: Issue 189 - Sonic Adventure

This was the first game I played on my Dreamcast and it was Christmas day to boot :D I remember thinking how on earth will I be able to perform precision jumps at high speed! I also did that thing of leaving my controller still because I thought I was watching a cut scene but I was in full control. ...

Currently playing Mad Max. In this heat it feels as though I am in the wasteland!
10 hours in and I figured out there is a jump button

Re: The XBOX ONE / PS4 discussion thread

EA Access is free for ten days from June 12th. Again, it's a good way to cane a game you wouldn't normally buy. I'm going to check out the Garden Warfare games and play some Rory Mcthingy golf. I tried to get that 'free play days' thing for EA Access but I am scared you automatically get signed up....

Re: Best cheap tablet

[Just bought a reconditioned Nook 7" tablet from Morgan Computers for £39 with 10% off discount voucher. Really impressed so far. Lovely screen and quality build. Much clearer and faster than my old Galaxy Tab 3 7" which always felt painfully slow to me. ZX Spectrum Marvin is just superb on it. Can...

Re: Best cheap tablet

I have been looking for a refurbished tablet for a while now. First I was set on getting a Nexus 7 2012 but now I am thinking of getting a nook 9 16/32gb. I don't really care for camera function as I just want it for reading. I may buy it from Cex online as I hear they now accept vouchers you get in...

PS3 The Last of Us

Amazing game. Took me 17 hours on normal. I really hope there is a sequel in the works.

The multiplayer is quite good too.

Tales of Xillia

Decent RPG finished in around 35 hours. Has a good amount of dialogue too.

I wasn't too clued up on the combat side but in the end it wasn't too bad on normal difficulty.

Maybe if the new XL came in white it would have colored buttons?

+1 Lone Survivor. I liked it very much but lack the patience to Plat it.
Also:
The Wolf Among Us Ep1 - Very good and dark, funny etc. Thinking of getting season pass.

Another Code R (Wii)

Really liked both Hotel Dusk games and Another Code on DS. The Wii game was not quite as good as those. It took me around 18 hours to finish!

Beyond Two Souls

Mixed feelings on this. Excellent presentation, acting etc but game-y bits are the worst bit. On the whole I'm glad I purchased it.

Battlefield 4

Campaign is pretty forgettable but the MP is addictive.

Walking Dead: 400 Days

Nice to get 5 scenarios but they are too short and it leaves you wanting more! Not going to touch S2 yet till all the episodes are out.
