Re: wii U

I want Magic The Gathering DOTP to come out on the Wii U, I believe the Gamepad would make it completely possible to have local games!

A quick google search shows I'm not alone in this and its looking possible.

Re: Am I the only one...

90's - GamesMaster, Bad Influence, Games World
00's - Gamezville

I rest my case....

But in all seriousness, I agree 90's is my childhood (born in 83) so when the 90's came along I was just at the right age to enjoy it as a kid. So many great memories maybe rose tinted, but who cares, good times!

Re: The Wii-U preorder thread

Going with Sainsbury's Premium Pack, purely because the missus works there so I get 10 or 15% off, I wonder if that discount code will work with a staff discount?

Definetly got to get NSMBU as I haven't played a Mario in ages.

Well as of last night, all the Trafford Centre hotels my missus checked were fully booked, we got a Travelodge (can't remember which) about 3 miles away £80 for the Saturday night.

Re: Whatever happened to the great British holiday arcade?

The problems are: 3. Charging £1 a credit for even ancient games. So much this!! whats wrong with my 20p huh? I was talking to Fishta about my recent Blackpool trip, in that some arcades have closed and the ones that remain all have about the same 5 arcades in, but 80% of arcades nowadays is full o...

Re: Charity Shops

Yep, can't beat using your gaming knowledge to make a few quid. True entrepreneurship! :) A lot of people I know look down on it, but I say: why the hell not? Buying games cheap then flogging them to HMV is how I paid for my 3DS. I must have traded in about five copies of Mario Kart DS. I'm doing t...

You know I'm still waiting on Blast Corps HD or a remake on XBLA, with online leaderboards, that would be awesome.

Just a pipe dream I think nowadays :(

Re: Final Fantasy 2 - Yours for $50,000

yeah even if I did have 50k there is no way I would send this much on a game, to hell with the rarity! it would take a very hardcore NES or FF collector to even consider this, it seems the NES is the console with the most expensive rarities. As for not being legit, then I am sure that will be going ...

Final Fantasy 2 - Yours for $50,000

Hi guys, came across this and as it has the potential to be the most expensive game ever, I think it deserves its own thread. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/gamesblog/2012/aug/23/final-fantasy-2-on-ebay?newsfeed=true Does this game warrant 50k? As retro game collectors would you buy this? Disc...

Re: most ridiculous MEGA RARE on ebay?

I cant link them as I'm at work (cant get on ebay), but doing my usual rounds last night on ebay, someone has listed pretty much all mega man games released on the PS1 and Breath of Fire 3 PS1 with a few others all sealed all PS1 games, ranging from £2k - £3.5k now I would like these in my collectio...

Re: Seaside arcades

Didnt see that one across from Coral Island as mainly stayed, stayed pub/arcade side of the sea front, not the pier/beach side, which is a shame because that was the type of stuff I was looking for. Unfortunately Slots of Fun was completely closed down when I went, and looking at the state of it, it...
