Re: New eBay payment rules.
I object to the nagging messages like "You must post by monday", etc despite not having received any payment. I suspect that being late to ship affects the seller's overall rating.

Re: Retro Gamer Letters Page 218
90s gaming for me was all about Sega. And working round the clock, having no debts, kids or mortgage - just spending wages on Megadrive, then Saturn games. And games mags. Then going out Friday/Saturday and back to mine half-pished with pals for more gaming. Then Skateboarding on Sundays (usually at...

I bought short term mining contracts and joined a mining pool a few years ago. Seemed to be a decent way to do it. Just remember to avoid the cloud based contracts. Always make sure the seller tells you which hardware he's using and what mining speeds he'll give you.
Re: Today
I'm pretty sure I went through Coin Exchange to withdraw my btc when it hit 20K. I had a big percentage penalty for the withdrawal, though. It all went smoothly IIRC.
Re: Today
Tbh, I dont really know. I mined my coins with my own hardware at the time, or bought contracts to use other peoples rigs for à limited time.
Re: Today
Only buy Bitcoin if you're wanting to get into crypto. I was mining Ether for a year and it's pretty stagnant. I transferred most of my Bitcoin over to cash when it hit $20k a few years back and left myself $100 worth (0.028 of one Bitcoin) in the account. Today, with Bitcoin hitting $48k, my hundre...

Re: The MARVEL film and TV universe
I loved the Daredevil series when it was on Netflix. Season 1 was best. Very gory with incredible fight choreography. The Defenders was ace too.

Re: New eBay payment rules.
Ebay and I have split, too in that case. That was the last of 18 packages sent off today. (Our local Post Office in WHSmiths is trialing opening on Sundays for a few weeks). My Saturn and Gamecube consoles, finishing tomorrow, I took off the site. Apologies to any RG members who were bidding. When I...

New eBay payment rules.
The new eBay payment procedure, I found out this morning, means that when someone pays by Paypal, they hold it until you request a bank transfer from them (eBay) to you (your bank), minus the fees for selling or final valuation, which eBay say they're going to deduct before sending your cash to you....

NGPC is retro to me, but not so much the other machines of the time. It can't be rationally explained.

52 here.
I consider the 16 bit systems retro and the 32 bit machines on the cusp.

Re: The Greatest Handheld Games Consoles - ranked
In between there are a bunch of Android devices such as the GPD XD+ and the Moqi I7S. Again though, I'd think you'd have to be wanting something specifically for Android games over and above your phone to justify the purchase. I swear by my GPD XD. It's the machine I'd rescue first if my house was ...

I've watched all 3 seasons back to back twice now. I cant believe I missed it first time round. It has a bit of a Cockfields vibe.
