Re: Tracking lateness

Did anyone else get a survey? Some questions were in regards to the subscription service and whether you would renew. I'm sure they will get some interesting answers. Yep, just filled it out today, I put average for the Subscription service question, and told them that the subs magazines arrive her...

International subscribers still are getting their copies (well, IF they're getting them, it seems) in plastic wrapping, which is kind of surrprising if you think about it.
Its not really that surprising given how much more international subscribers pay for their subscriptions

Re: Tracking lateness

Yes, of course mine did too :) So I have a spare now. So this raises the question, which may be answered next month if our subs and newsagent copies appear at the same time. Are they now using the same slow (seamail?) service that they have been using for newsagents for years now (3+ months late to...

Re: Tracking lateness

213 also arrived for me yesterday, three months later, guess we just need to be super patent at the moment. I'm in NSW, still no sign here. Hopefully your good news means mine is *somewhere* in the mail Edit: Just saw 213 at a local newsagent so gave up and bought one. If my sub copy ever turns up ...

Re: Hot topic discussion

I'm 44, but people tell me I act much younger :D Its interesting, as a Wii doesn't plug into an HDMI only TV, so you could consider that retro, however it doesn't feel retro when I play things like Wii Fit with my kids. I think for me its the Gamecube / PS2 era, that definitely has that old school f...

What country are you in?

When they sent out that email before xmas saying issues would be a few days late, they misspelt months

Nice to get this the other day, not keen on the subscriber cover as we've had a blueprint style one before for one of the other machines
IIRC, it was for the PlayStation, so this cover is a nice companion to it IMHO.
There were blueprint covers for the Gameboy and SNES recently

Re: Tracking lateness

Success, some good news for Australian/New Zealand subscribers, mine and another friends 213 subscriber issues have finally showed up in NZ. The irony or maybe just a cruel joke with it is that I went and bought 213 from retail yesterday because I had given up all hope of it arriving so had pre-book...

Re: Tracking lateness

I've been talking to people on social media as well, and haven't found a non-Europe subscriber who has received anything more than 212 yet - I'm in New Zealand, haven't received an issue for over 2 months now. 213 is due at retail here in the next few weeks

Re: Tracking lateness

Its been over 5 weeks since 212 arrived for me, so I'm assuming they have been even more slack this month than they were for the previous month at getting international subscriber issues out What country are you in? I don't think 212 has shown up in the US yet. I'm in New Zealand, pretty much the f...

Re: Tracking lateness

#212 subscription issue finally showed up in NZ today, was starting to get worried, but kind of expected given how late it went out to UK subscribers

Re: Tracking lateness

Have any external to Europe subscribers received 212 yet? I presume it will be delayed given the UK ones were pretty late too?

Re: Issue 211

This arrived at the weekend for me (in NZ), and the SNES article is so good Nick, being a tech guy in my career, I love the technical angle of it. Also, love how much PC/DOS coverage theres been lately, particularly the Sierra stuff.
