Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 206

I personally stopped getting Edge about 10 years ago when they appeared to think that their ideas on things were more important than the actual games they were covering, the games coverage was dreadful apart from some of their Retro issues. You could read a two page review and leave it knowing barel...

Re: Tracking lateness

Its not available on the Single Issue page either - I've contacted them by email to see what is possible, and mentioned that after 15 years collecting the mag, to miss an issue wouldn't be great. My only fallback at this stage is to buy off ebay, where its going to cost me between 20 and 40 pounds ...

Re: Tracking lateness

Have any subscribers in New Zealand or Australia received issue 205? I didn't, but it was meant to have been posted out and it can't be replaced on the website - it says "this issue can't be replaced"? Any tips on what I should do to get my issue? I've had that "can't be replaced" nonsense before d...

Re: Conversion Capers feels lazy

but isn't that totally accurate to the REAL machines! also screenshots do you WANT them to hang a computer out of the window in THIS day and age?!? You are saying that the journalists for retrogamer do not need to play the games on real hardware and a quick 'load it up and see what ...

Re: IMPORTANT - COVID-19 update

The numbers printed above my address are 345, then a big space then a 14 digit number starting with a 3, which the site won't accept? ( I have been a subscriber since the Imagine/Live days so maybe I have a different number?) Cheers If you've renewed your subscription through myfavouritemagazines b...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 205

So, international print subscriptions on hold for a while - hopefully they keep their word and do send them out at a later date, I'd be gutted if I missed a few issues!

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 200

Congratulations Darran and team, still going strong and still keeping that old school magazine flame alive where all else have failed. This magazine has been with me for longer than my two broken marriages, and costs way cheaper than they did as well :D :D :D

Re: From The Forum Issue 201

I started with handhelds with the original DS, but since then probably my alltime favourite is Ocarina of Time 3DS. Such a good game for taking away on long business plane trips.

Interesting that you haven't bothered to read it and are criticising it. Ever heard of how useful farting in the wind is?

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 198

I have subbed digitally for years now. It suits me fine. And since the paper version in stores here in Norway cost extremely much (last time I checked the price was around 14 GBP for a single issue) and digital sub on my ipad is so cheap (22.50 GBP for six months), it's an easy choice. I got an int...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 198

Yes, I go straight to my fave magazines site for the issue now, it is impossible to buy over the counter in Christchurch New Zealand now. Sad. But retailers in NZ screw the public over anyway putting high retails on issues that are actually the older (3 issue previous) issue. So easier to buy onlin...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 198

Sub arrived in New Zealand about 5 days ago, have to say that this is a top notch issue, every single page will be read. the M2 article in particular was brilliant, being a programmer geek guy I absolutely love pieces like that that delve into the technical side of things.
