Re: Issue 211

Not an issue at all. If they get money for the ads that can only but help the mag survive Normally just turn the page instantly. Wasn’t even bothered by the MILF hotlines years back when some people weren’t happy over them. And no I didn’t note the numbers down ! Back in those heady days when the o...

Re: Issue 211

With the Future site, I found it very interesting they are publishing sales numbers of the magazines, its always been hard to find that kind of info - I didn't realise RetroGamer sold so much more print copies a month than Edge does (50% more), utterly thrashing it (and deservedly so), great work team

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 210

I'm surprised there's no thread for this issue yet. I had to create one just to say how great the Tony Pomfret interview is, he's a character, just don't mention Wigan  Ah glad it made you smile Ely. Tony is a good lad. Despite his apparent concern about being associated with Wigan. It's alway...

Re: Tracking lateness

so I've received 5 different Retro Gamer issues in the last 4 weeks, 205, 207,208, 209, and 210 - its like Christmas almost - so glad I didn't read them in the free digital ones. Just waiting on 206 now, well done on Future for their effort during these crap times

Re: Tracking lateness

208 subscriber just showed up in New Zealand for me, a week after 209 did. Now just waiting on 206 and 207, however they were surface shipped so could be a couple of months away.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 209

Mine finally arrived today in Ireland. Still no sign of my back issues held due to Covid though. Any update on these? I got an email today about the held copies of my Edge subscription (funnily enough the first time ever, never had a message in the regard the last few months) saying that they're be...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 208 - Back to the 80s

I finally got my physical copy and smiled a lot at the big 80s feature - it's just the sort of wide-ranging, imaginative article the mag does so well. Nice one Daz, Nick and Drew for making it happen. But I have to say I was slightly disappointed in one respect - the opening text promised 'iconocla...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 208 - Back to the 80s

So I guess things are indeed back to normal now - which seems to mean the digital issues are gone along with the "Your copy of Retro gamer will be with you soon" emails that contained the link for that. Oh well. Of course, I also never got the email stating that international subscribers will get t...

Re: Tracking lateness

So, after not ever receiving #205 as a subscriber in New Zealand, three separate copies of it showed up this week, with one of them being the original that was sent months ago, that must've been stuck in the global mail system somewhere all that time. I'm itching to get my hands on the next three is...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 206

I personally stopped getting Edge about 10 years ago when they appeared to think that their ideas on things were more important than the actual games they were covering, the games coverage was dreadful apart from some of their Retro issues. You could read a two page review and leave it knowing barel...

Re: Tracking lateness

Its not available on the Single Issue page either - I've contacted them by email to see what is possible, and mentioned that after 15 years collecting the mag, to miss an issue wouldn't be great. My only fallback at this stage is to buy off ebay, where its going to cost me between 20 and 40 pounds ...

Re: Tracking lateness

Have any subscribers in New Zealand or Australia received issue 205? I didn't, but it was meant to have been posted out and it can't be replaced on the website - it says "this issue can't be replaced"? Any tips on what I should do to get my issue? I've had that "can't be replaced" nonsense before d...
