Re: Sega Saturn collecting thread
Just got myself a Saturn now, fully boxed, amazing condition, with Sega Rally and Virtua Fighter 2, works perfectly, new battery put in, first thing's first I'll need to procure a memory card for it, but otherwise the only game I REALLY want is Athlete Kings. Is ebay the way to go, or do any of you...

Re: Losing touch with modern gaming - anyone in this boat?
Modern games on PS360 and the like leave me cold. They are all the same these days. Looking at all the "next-gen" coverage online and in the magazines just bores me to tears. Its all so generic. Having said that, Nintendo has been doing well on the 3DS over the last couple of years. If it weren't fo...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
I bought Bioshock Infinite today. Its been on the shopping list for a while, and the price was right so I went ahead and bought it. Got in this evening, had a munch, walked the dog, charged the PS3 pad, read the instruction manual and got going..... Bioshock 1 was the first game I bought for my 360,...

GC, Wii, etc. factory sealed games FS.
Hi all, been a while since I last posted. I'm offering up a few factory sealed games from my collection before heading to eBay with them. All the titles are in very good condition, though there might be the odd nick in the plastic in some of them, so I wouldn't say they were ideal for top-tier VGA g...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 108 Official Feedback
There's more to retro gaming than ancient computer games, many of which are now unplayable. And before you say anything, I think that many of the NES' games are near unplayable too, and apparently, I'm a Ninty fanboy :? I personally think RG has a good mix, yeah some months might have more 8 bit co...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 108 Official Feedback
Great to see the mag not bogged down in 8-bit computer coverage lately - long may it last! When I read that I read it as "Great to see the mag not bogged down in Retro Gaming coverage lately - long may it last!", which is a strange things to say about Retro Gamer. There's more to retro gaming than ...

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!
Evermore, I think you have made your point about people and weight. A post was made earlier pointing out that your comments were offensive - and that can't just be ignored. I've also received 2 pm's regarding your comments. Could you please leave it at that and move onto another unpopular opinion p...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
@nokgod - great to see you bought Clash of Heroes :) I hope you enjoy it. Let us know how you get on. Yeah i saw it for £3.98 in Gamestation, so i thought i'd better get it while i'd got the opportunity. :D Wow, great deal on that - can't believe someone traded it in for seemingly a couple of quid ...

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!
Consider also that everyone has a different metabolism. I eat plenty of snack food and do very little exercise with the exception of cycling to work yet im 6ft and barely pushing 10 stone. Im lucky in that sense, others have to maintain a stricter diet and exercise regime. I just dont think it's as...

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!
Obesity and Anorexia are two sides of the same coin and can stem from the same issues with confidence and personal image, and yet obese people get far more abuse because its easier to see. Anorexia is generally girls who want to look like models in a magazine, and go too far with the dieting. Fat p...

Re: Do you neglect any of your games systems?
I have never bought myself a NES game in all my years of collecting - even though I have one since childhood. I just don't want anything for it as I think its a pretty dated system in all honesty. Mario Bros. 1 is still amazing, but thats it really. Not a huge fan - SNES was such a jump up it was un...

Really enjoying the running discourse in this thread - Toxie and Shadowman in particular!
