Re: Games that you WANT to love but just cant
the Last of Us was pretty dull after a while - I kept waiting to be amazed as per the reviews - but lost interest early as one level just seemed to be trying to hit people with bricks. Not exactly what I was expecting from such a critically hailed game. Totally agree, I played the remaster on PS4. ...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week
MGSV: Phantom Pain (but it still says around 63%, even if I did the 50 missions
)
and Batman: Arkham Knight, which I had "paused" to play MGS. I thought the Batmobile would be fun, it was the most boring thing ever.

Re: Buying a console just for one game
Nintendo 64 for Mario 64.
And um... I bought a PS4 for MGSV: Ground zeroes. Although I knew it was like... 2 hours
but hey I knew there would be more games I'd want to play on PS4 in the future...

Re: Bubble Bobble vs Rainbow Islands
As soon as I read, I thought "RAINBOW ISLANDS!!!"... and then I voted Bubble Bobble. Rainbow Islands holds a special place in my heart! I used to love it on the Amiga, I played it so many times... Still, I was crap at it!!! I never managed to finish it (not even close). In the end, I think BB ...

Re: Games that you WANT to love but just cant
For me it's the Uncharted games. It's not that I dislike them - I played 1-2-3 and even Golden Abyss, I just don't... love them. I don't know, I thought it was the closest thing to an Indiana Jones game you could find, and they're supposed to be amazing, but meh. Not-exciting shooting section, a bit...

I'm playing OlliOlli on the Vita... completed the amateur level but I don't think I'll ever be able to do all the pro challenges!
Instead I finished Yoshi's New Island on 3DS.. meh... I din't like it that much

Re: Games and Humour
Huh, great topic (I've written my PhD thesis on humour in video games! ) It's true that there aren't many games that are funny because they make you do funny stuff (some point'n'click advs like Monkey 1-2 and Day of the Tentacle are the first titles that come to mind), but there are a lot ...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Seven Psychopaths starring Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell amongst others. Didn't know much about it but really enjoyed it. It was an excellent film indeed! I knew nothing about it before watching and was quite surprised with what I saw. :D Great movie! I watched Into the Woods - First part really g...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread
I bought The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth about a week ago, I was afraid I'd hate it as I thought is was very hard - I was so wrong, I LOVE it!
I mean, it IS hard - I'll never be able to... I won't say finish it, but not even get too far, but who cares, it's fun anyway
