I don't remember it but doing some research, it starred one of the McGann brothers, because all 80's sitcoms set in the North west seemed to be required to do so.

Wasn't Trial of Champions essentially Deathtrap Dungeon with some gladiatorial trials before hand? Did I remember that correctly? Pretty much, but most Ian Livingstone books are essentially the same dungeon crawl, even when they're above ground. So many T-junctions, even in Forest of Doom... I was ...

I only ever had Cassettes before getting an Amiga. I was only a kid and couldn't afford the ridiculous price for a disk drive as advertised from mail order companies in Amstrad Action, next to the Romantic Robot ad.

'Should' be out next month (They did say Feb 18) but theres a new app by the Fighting Fantasy team which sounds like you basically 'buy' books so its like a hub of hopefully lots of Fighting Fantasy games. Happy to report that sales of the new book are ticking along nicely! Only around 130 copies left now, and with an interview feature set to appear in Retro Gamer this week, hopefully a few more will find themselves being snapped up over the coming days. I'm definitely going to keep the original hard...

Although I was familiar with and impressed by both Encounter and Mercenary, I'd have to say that his finest hour was Damocles. It was simply breathtaking to have an entire solar system to play in at the time, with lots of big cities on most of the planets and a few tucked away little secrets elsewh...

Project Gotham Racing, loved the first 2, 3 and 4 got worse.
Bizarre Creations got shut down a few years after Activision bought them. Most of the guys who made them ended up at EA making Need for Speed games.
