One of my favourites was Congo Bongo, mainly because the local arcade had it set to 2 games for 10p, but most people didn't realise, meaning loads of free games for me. Also loved Bubble Bobble and Mappy, but number one has to be Wonder Boy, the only game that I could actually play one game for a co...

Re: Games that completely surprised you quality wise.

At the time of release, I remember being blown away by Winter Games on C64. Such beautiful graphics for it's time.

Re: I could use some messurements of the Intellivision

I saw this, and thought "how hard can it be to find this info?" How wrong I was, you're right it doesn't seem to be anywhere, but I'm sure someone will come along who has an original unit they can measure.

Re: Your best gaming moment

Best gaming moment for me has to be when Mayhem in Monsterland dropped onto my doormat. Had got so hyped up about that game, and was not disappointed. I believe I even gave up masturbation for a while just to play it. Another great (but admittedly naughty) moment was the day I discovered MAME, and g...

Re: From the Forum issue 99

I have to say I really cannot decide. Back in the 80's and well into the 90's I was C64 all the way, nothing else could come close, and I never owned a Spectrum. But looking back now, I also have happy memories of playing on the Spectrums of my friends (yes, we could co-exist), and both machines hav...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi all. Been a RG reader since beginning. Don't really know why I never signed up to the forum until now, but better late than never. Started my gaming life way back with one of those Binatone TV Master thingies. Went through a few of those type of machines, and tabletop games, until I eventually up...
