With the release of the newest addition in the series, it got me thinking...
MK II was the daddy for me.
More characters (and they were awesome!), better replay value and I preferred it to later releases (although 3 & trilogy were tops as well).

Re: Renting videotapes
Video shops always used to have a weird but delightful smell.
Great days. Always fun when you'd find a arcade machine that was a new fighting game etc.

Re: Buses
Travel WM buses were my regular steed in the 90's and early 2000's, can still remember the old style ones with brown floors covered in old chewing gum, horrible Orange fabric on the seats and places for people to store their shopping at the front of the bus. Just as I was finishing college they upg...

Help identifying a kids TV show from the 90's!
There was a group of kids and they had what seemed like a non-human friend that disappeared into sand/stones. It was shown on BBC1 if I remember rightly.
Any ideas? It's been bugging me for ages now.

Re: been playing the megadrive collection on 360
Saturn Sega Rally, Virtual On, Daytona, Nights, the Panzers and Virtua Fighter all on one compilation CD would be ace for the current gen, IMO. I'm aware this won't happen but it's a nice dream. It's more than a nice dream, it's a bloody very nice dream! I also playing this compilation. Love...

Re: Your most exciting time in gaming
1980-1990 The time of the arcade. Walking into an arcade in the 80s, the sight the sound the smell. Rows of cabs of Double Dragon, Gauntlet, Paperboy, Space Harrier, Outrun; most with attracts calling out to you to play them. It was the time of the high-score hero, with crowds gathering round to wa...
