Re: Buying CD's

Been a buying a few CD's again lately, used 90's stuff. Really is a fantastic time to be a buyer and add to your collection(s) due to the giveaway prices on anything other than the genuinely rare or collectable. Picked up an Apollo Four Forty album and the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack for a coupl...

I'm guessing that instead of a screen a plain white wall would suffice... :D
It will but be careful because if your wall is not clean. Any muck and grease from hands etc... will show up as dull smears as that area on the wall will not be as reflective.

Impressive. Not sure I would ever personally pay that for a book though.

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic

Just in case there's anyone else who hasn't already been terminally put off by what you've heard so far, it turns out that nine of the games on the system are the PAL versions. That's not necessarily a bad choice for GTA and Destruction Derby, because they're European games. However, the other 7 - ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

New Zealand Story (MAME) Love this game and play it a lot, only discovered about 6 months ago that there are 'warp gates' in the game. If you see yourself firing and the bullets end 'short' its because theres an invisible warp gate you can activate, keep shooting and it'll appear and make you jump ...

Re: Emuparadise Shuts Up Shop

Agreed.

Nintendo should be able to bang out these older games at a rate of knots by now. It’s ridiculous how slow Nintendo are at getting stuff out there.

Re: What anime are you watching thread

Oh I found my back-ups of my old Cyber City Oedo VHS'. Proper old school Manga Video nostalgia for me. I loved Cyber City Oedo 808 at the time. I remember finding it on VHS second hand for £8 in a record store in Edinburgh and being very pleased at the price. I finished One Punch Man season one yes...

Re: N64 mini pix leaked

Having previously owned a import N64. If this does ever see the light of day I hope it runs in 60hz. The 50hz none RGB euro console was shocking. Going by the NES and SNES Classics, I'd think it a given that it'll output at 60Hz via HDMI with scaling to at least 720p. Let’s hope so. I would certain...

Re: Arcade Imperfect ... another retro-gaming book by Jerry Ellis!

Yeah I think the reaction has been a bit over the top. One he doesn’t own the rights but I still get why he would be upset. But let’s think about it. Anyone who is buying the book would most likely of known about the origins of that image and not sat there thinking about how much money that image is...
