Re: What are you currently playing?

Assassins Creed Origins. After a short hiatus I'm back on this back on this big time. 40 hours in, and level 31. I'm clearing every area fully as I get there and usually at this point I start mainlining the story but I just can't stop getting treasure or clearing enemy camps. I can see me hitting 1...

Re: What are you currently playing?

So due to the awesomeness that is Spyro, AC:Origins took a back seat. I've platinumed Spyro 1 and now working my way through 2. They're so much fun. I've also been playing a fair amount of Apex Legends, and while it has a steep learning curve it's an amazing game. I'm consistently getting into the l...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Assassin's Creed Origins That is one pretty, pretty game. I started it this week. You're not wrong! Already about 12.5 hours in and loving it. Have you zoomed the map right out yet? It's bloody massive, probably going to take me another 70 hours to see it all  I picked up the Spyro remastered ...

I don't know if you use Facebook, but I've seen multiple PS2s going for £20-£25 on the marketplace recently in my area.

Re: Buying CD's

Streaming all the way for me. I have Spotify and Amzaon music via prime. Combined with the Alexa during Xmas it was great, we had loads of people round over the 4 days we hosted and while we were playing games we'd take turns in asking for a song to be played. We had everything from Chris Andrews th...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

^Yeah its a Skylanders BUY THIS TO DO THIS type game No. It's not. Starlink is your basic Ubisoft open worlder, but monetized with toys in addition to the usual microtransactions. It appears that its bombed sufficiently for there to be little chance of further content, and you can play almost of th...

Re: What are you currently playing?

I'm on a PS4 backlog clearance binge: I've just finished Yakuza 0 which is bat censored mental. It's a brawler. It's a mahjong simulator. It's a gambling game. It's a dating game. It's everything at all times. There are so many faces to this game you cannot pin it down. The story is so serious and t...

Re: Jean-Michel Jarre - Equinoxe Infinity - Out November 16th

I had no idea this was happening. Cheers for the heads up.

I've loved Jarre since I was about 12 and finally got to see him live in Birmingham about 5 or 6 years ago. One of the best gigs ever!

I quite liked both the sequels to Oxygene, they were an evolution to the sound of the original.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Halloween 1978-Still amazing. I must have watched this film over 30 times and it still holds up. Which leads us into... Halloween 2018- Better than I expected but not as good as it could have been. It totally retcons any of the sequels, including the good Halloween 2 and the great H20(and the censor...

Re: Which book(s) are you currently reading?

Last Shot-Han Solo novel. Set before and after the Solo movie. It was pretty good, listened to the audiobook over 3 days of a lot of driving! It had it's moments of good and bad but worth a read/listen. I've got the new Stephen King novel on order for the end of the month so looking forward to that,...
