Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
That's disappointing to hear, the original is still one of the best arcade games. Is the original game unlockable in any way? I'd still kill for an arcade perfect port of Rainbow Islands on Switch, too. Yeah the arcade version is there all ready to go. At least it is Bub n Bob on the go! Recently p...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion
Ahoy, not been in these here parts in yonks so a quick hello! So has Bubble Bobble 4 been mentioned in this thread yet? What are peoples opinions? Personally found it dreadful (1 player) akin to a poorly made mobile game. Contrast to a phone app as you get awarded stars out of 3 depending on the pla...

Re: ghoul patrol
Pretty much nailed the issues above aside from one horrendous omission - no map button! The hostages have HELP ME shouts from off screen but the map helped the game immensely!

Re: Cauldren and Cauldren 2
really fun games, I had both on one tape I remember. Had no idea what I was doing but they were great fun. It reminded me quite a lot like the same controls as Whizzball, so anything like that was always a good game for me.

Re: GAME not stocking Mass Effect 3 or EA games past SSX
Do front line Game staff ever feed anything back to the top bods when a practice is not good or could be better? If there are people here that could see this coming, could something not have been done about it? I have been working in my job for over 11 years and I know what people like. If somethin...

Re: Your first console
I had a commodore 64 with the hollywood nights pack and a trivial pursuit pack. It was Rambo over the Krypton Factor any day of the week! It was such a good pack too, you got Rambo 2, Great Escape, Miami Vice and Platoon. They were all great fun, Miami Vice fun for the wrong reasons. If console thou...

Re: GAME not stocking Mass Effect 3 or EA games past SSX
It all has been coming for a while. Im coming up to nearly 5 years now working for Game. I remember when it was actually fun, the store staff generally, I can not knock - we have been the face of the company to customers for donkeys years. All this added pressure to 'hassle' customers etc is put upo...
