Re: What are you currently playing?

Give me New Vegas or Fallout 3 over that any day of the week. It looks nice and all, but it is not an RPG at all compared to the previous games. Plus them removing the skill system, and the changes to the conversation system was just criminal.

Re: What are you currently playing?

After recently playing through Doom 2, I've since moved onto Heretic. I'd not played the game in a very long time. Great game.

Re: Collecting ideas

I'd say to go something like Origin, Looking Glass or Westwood Studios.

Re: Super Mario Bros 64 released

The developer did the right thing, in not making a big note about it during it's development. That way, he got to develop it in full with no issues, then release it where it's too late for Nintendo to stop it. AM2R did the same thing to great success.

Re: Favorite GBA game

You definitely could not do FMV on the GBA, unlike the 3DO (which had A LOT of FMV games).

Re: Favorite GBA game

Exactly. And many of the games have that "SNES look".

Re: Quake II Fully Ray Traced

Thats as Dosbox locks the frame rate via the CPU cycles. That's the whole point of Dosbox. To emulate a 486 PC, or slightly better.

Re: Favorite GBA game

Well compared to say Sega Megadrive, NES, Super Nintendo or N64 boxed complete games, I'd still call that cheap. For those I mentioned some games go for like $500. Conkers Bad Fur Day even just in cartridge form goes for a bit ($200+). Any RPG on the SNES complete usually goes for a fair bit.

Re: Quake II Fully Ray Traced

If you do go back and play Quake now, get Quakespasm. It fixes the daft implementation of mouselook and pushes the whole thing into hires. Last year I went and played through all of Quake 1 via a source port that I cant recall. Playing the game natively was impossible due to how the game was coded....

Re: Favorite GBA game

Be cheap-ish on Ebay wouldn't it? Last I checked, most GBA games don't go for much on there.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Currently playing Dark Cloud on PS2. Excellent game. I'm divided on whether it's the better game of between it and Dark Chronicle.

Re: Favorite GBA game

Not many, even though I adore the console (since it's an extension of the SNES in many ways). But of those I've played I enjoyed the most: Astro Boy - The Omega Factor Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow Castlevania - Circle of the Moon Castlevania - Harmony of Dissonance Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Ninj...
