Re: From the forum issue 138 - Point and click

you do you just press 'space' to get the dialog to display all at once don't you? but that said I don't remember it being slow to display on original release. It was slightly annoying on the remakes where they added voice actors, but then again you could still tap space to skip. Now Les Manley - Los...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 137

I lol'd at the part about the PSN network being hacked and "it clearly taught Sony a lesson as it hadn't fallen foul to a devastating attack since" - Bit below the belt!

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 125

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 125

The photo of the Exidy Sorcerer on page 96 appears to be lifted from Wikipedia which in turn was licensed from Flickr under creative commons but there's no attribution.

Re: Printing out-of-print issues

they won't allow it, they need the old issues to re-hash the content for the new ones - seriously I have every issue bar issue 2 (ok my issue one is the reprint that came free a while back) and they seem to be doing that a lot lately.

Re: Issue 67 Feedback

Did I dream it or does the Operation Wolf article say that light gun games have been around since the Thirties? is that correct? Probably read it right, if it was referring to those Wild West shoot-out things. Lots of fun, they were :D Ah get ya - I was imagining "Kaiser Wilhelm 3D" or something :)

Re: Your Wolfenstein reactions

I first played it unless my memory is failing me when the shareware version was given away on an early Pc Format Coverdisk, I played it to death and at some point ended up with a playground copy of the full version. A couple of years back a work colleague had a GBA with it, and I was still able to r...

I had an email the other day saying there are still some available in the first batch and...

Im a reader of Practical Classics, being into retro cars as well as games!and they've run a Trainspotters corner for years on the letters page which seems to work well enough - of course errors are less avoidable in that market as a lot of the writers are writing about cars that were out before they...
