Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week
Nothing rare or quirky but recently picked up Tony Hawks Underground for PS2 for £1 in a charity shop and just completed it. Can't have been a bad game as I kept coming back to it til the end, but it just made me want to play Tony Hawk 2 on the PS1 again lol. With this one I found the story line ann...

Re: Games that never get mentioned
I kept forgetting to post about this game I picked up last year for £1, and this thread has reminded me! It's called Freak Out , for the PS2. I've only played it to test it works so far, but basically you're a child with some sort of demon hand sticking out your back and you run around grabbing gian...

Selling 3DS with downloaded games?
Hi all, has anyone here ever sold their Nintendo 3DS and included the downloaded games? I've realised the games are associated to the Nintendo ID thing, What a pain!! I've got 5 decent games to include, and I'm actually happy to let the Nintendo ID go with the console as I'm not interested in using ...

Re: Games that pushed hardware limits
Was thinking about this driving home last night and came up with the following... SNES - Stunt Race FX. N64 - Donkey Kong 64 (any N64 game that REQUIRED the memory expansion). PS1 - Final Fantasy 8. PS2 - Shadow of the Colossus. Now I don't know if I'm right or wrong, but this is just what comes to ...

Does anyone play The Settlers III?
I've just replayed it for the first time since it originally came out. Had to completely re-learn it as I played. I've got about 2 hours into a single player scenario and realised I needed a tool shed thing as I've run out of pickaxes. So I've now built the tool shed, but nobody can work in there wi...

Re: Cex now selling Super Nes stuff
See I'd rather pay an extra few quid to buy them off ebay instead so I can see the condition in photos.
From CEX the labels could be ripped off, the plastic could be orange, the country code could be german or something random, etc etc.
Not to mention the possibility of fake carts.

Re: Help me remember this PC title please?
Haha brilliant you legend! I can't believe how bad that looks hahaha. Maybe we wouldn't have made our £millions after all then. The cover doesn't look right to me, done some Googling and found this made up one with the blue man I was talking about! http://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/files/the-face-g...

Help me remember this PC title please?
Hullo everyone! Had a random flashback over the weekend, and I hope I'm ok to post this here as it's not technically a game. I would say around the year 2000 my mate had this Windows PC software that you could create your own games with. Me and my mate genuinely thought we were game designers and ou...

Re: Panasonic 3DO double game packs?!
Nooo I don't want to sign up to any more forums lol! Should we be recommending rival forums anyway? Helpful response though cheers for the extra information. No wonder I can't find anything useful if they aren't documented well. I will have a browse of Retro Collect and see if I can find anyth...

Re: Panasonic 3DO double game packs?!
Ooooo! Good find! The chap I bought them from was not English so possibly they are from another continent, as I'm sure 3DO games are not region blocked? What also makes me think they are not hand-made is the fact that the single case games I've got, the manuals are the front cover insert (ie: you sl...

Panasonic 3DO double game packs?!
Hi all, I've recently acquired a bundle of 3DO games from a local seller. This particular one is really bugging me, it's 2 different games in the same case and I can't find any information about them anywhere on the internet! I'm starting to get a feeling that someone has put the 2 games together th...

Games compatibility with Mega Drive 2?
Is anyone aware of any older Mega Drive games that aren't compatible with the Mega Drive 2? Reason I ask is that I've recently acquired Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle. It loads the very first Sega screen but then just shows a black screen / never loads any further. I've cleaned the contacts with ...
