Re: Chips store (still alive)

Hey again, This week's Blasts from the Past is a right treat (if I say so myself). An Atari 400 bundle, two gold-cartridge classics, the PC version of what some people claim is the greatest game ever, and one half of the 16 bit console wars. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.247134938663811.6...

Re: Poll - Do you play new releases?

Been on Dead Island for a bit today with one of my mates. Really good fun, if a little unpolished.

It's like playing Dead Rising in 1st person, in an Oblivion/Fallout based open world, with hoardes of zombies and 4 player teamplay of Left 4 Dead. A real mixed bag.

Re: Chips store (still alive)

Just a small heads up that the Secret of Mana SNES game we had in this week's Blasts from the Past is also in this week's Deal of the Week. It was £42 but is now £32 for this week only :)

Cheers,

Carl

Hitman Blood Money is ace. I've played every level on it dozens of times each and still find new ways to do things.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Black Ops has sucked me back in with it's new Zombie maps. I played the new Moon one while round a mate's and it was enough to part me with my cash.

Insane it is, like Doom with zombies and moon physics.

Re: My SNES has a yellow/green screen

It's not the TV

I have 2 other SNES' that work fine with the same cables on the same TV. The woman who sold me it also said the wires were dodgy but could be replaced. Turns out it wasn't the wires!

Re: My SNES has a yellow/green screen

By scart I mean the SNES/N64/GAMECUBE cable with the yellow/white/red connectors. I've gave the socket on the SNES a clean with a cotton bud, but it hasn't changed anything so it's an internal problem. I have the tool to open it up at the store, but no idea what to do when it is open. Obviously, loo...

My SNES has a yellow/green screen

This is for my personal SNES, and nothing to do with the store. I bought 2 SNES consoles off a woman with a load of games through one of those local buy/trade/sell Facebook groups. She forgot to bring the wires for both of them and only gave me the consoles and pads. Anyway, I had some wires off my ...
