Re: Who's excited about Shenmue III?

It's finally happening! :D :D :D

I doubt it will be as special as the two earlier games, though (<Don't quote this lol).

Re: My local retro storejust got this Dreamcast in.

I doubt it's the first Dreamcast ever produced. It's maybe the first Dreamcast machine to have a barcode slapped on it's arse. At least whoever buys it is guaranteed a Revision-0 model with its heat sync strapped fan and its sexy little heat displacement pipes. http://www.gamesx.com/dreamcast/mainbo...

Re: Your one favourite game. Any format. Ever.

It was a throw up between DOOM and DOOM II for me. I'll go with DOOM II due to the almost endless amount of user made content for that game. Here's some screens of one of the few maps that i ever bothered to finish: http://i1357.photobucket.com/albums/q746/MegaDreamer/Map5_zps8bfa789a.png http://i13...

Re: Maybe he should have made Halo after all......

I played it on the PC too. I wonder why a lot of the PC gaming community shunned the game. Maybe because there was more variety on the PC? Or the idea that console FPS just can't be good ? I'm not sure mate. I thought it was decent enough and i quite liked the setting of the game and the orc...

Re: Games that could use a remake

Personally I'd love to see remakes of the following: Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (fan made remake in progress :D ) Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Dino Crisis System Shock 2 Zero Tolerance Deathtrap Dungeon Exhumed/Powerslave Loaded Enemy Zero Nightmare Creatures (I'd actually prefer a reboot than a rema...

Re: Shmup fans - What are your favourite stage themes?

I love the Boss Theme from Triggerheart Exelica. It's almost as adrenaline fueling as the Thunder Force IV Boss Themes. Triggerheart Exelica - Boss Theme (Dreamcast) My favorite Shmup soundtracks that i enjoy to listen to in their entirety would have to be: Hellfire, Elemental Master and Truxton {Me...

Re: Maybe he should have made Halo after all......

Isn't Halo the pinnacle of Arena based team based DM? To me it is, anyway. No. That honor belongs to Unreal Tournament and Quake III: Team Arena. I reckon that the guys at Bungie must have played a lot of Quake considering the control method for Halo's Warthog was nabbed straight from the quake mod...
