I tried to like Doshin but it seemed a little aimless - maybe I need to give it another chance. Mind you, I think I started playing it around the same time as Smash Bros Melee which rather blew most other Cube games away at the time.

RPGs for me too. I used to play a lot on the Mega Drive (Shining Force series, Shining in the Darkness etc, even the weaker ones like the D&D game) and FFVII-X to varying degrees but I can't really be arsed with them so much now. I did play through Fire Emblem on the Wii recently but it took a while...

One that sticks in my mind* is the shuriken that was given away with Last Ninja 2 on the Speccy. I would imagine that they wouldn't get away with it these days, even though it was made of soft plastic.

I only stayed for a few hours but still enjoyed it. I didn't manage to get near Typing of the Dead at Retro North so it was nice to grab a go of it at this event instead - my typing's a bit all over the shop though we did manage to make it to the penultimate level. Seems more fun playing it on a DC ...

Plus Neil Morrisey and Liz Carling did the voices in the talkie version of Liberation - Captive 2.Sureshot wrote:Chris Barrie doing the talkie in Simon the Sorcerer.
Jason Isaacs did some of the talkie in Beneath a Steel Sky.
