Ok then, this one shouldn't be too hard. Game I've never played much myself, but that music...

Chrono Trigger. Around 1999 I had never played an RPG before, I tried loading CT and I was hooked to it for hours. It was the start of my love for JRPGs.

Coconut Beach from Out Run. There is always something magic in speeding among the palm trees, the sea and the advertising signs while the speakers fire up Magical Sound Shower.

Re: Fantasy F1

Congrats to the winner. Ferrari wasn't a good bet for me (6th), but I'd still not have Mercs or Max on my team  See you all next season!

Re: Amiga musicians/C64 musicians

Huelsbeck, Hippel and Whittaker would make my podium.

Among those not mentioned I think Karsten Obarski (author of SoundTracker) deserves a mention, he did some great tracks (Amegas, Sarcophaser, Crystal Hammer and Future Tank to name a few).

Re: From the forum: 191

Not a great fan of their games, I find them generally a bit overrated. The two Speedball games are the only ones I really like, with Speedball 2 topping them all. "Replay! Geeeet Reaaady!"

Re: From the forum: 188

Final Fantasy IX gets my vote. Gorgeous, underrated gem with lovable characters and lots of enjoyable side quests. It was released late in the life of the PS1, when all eyes were on the PS2, but it's one of my favourite RPGs of all time. Fantastic game. Hard choice though, the PS1 had tons of incre...

Re: Your favourite Ben Daglish music

Deflektor is my favourite among his own, with a great melody and its bouncy-Daglishly feeling.

Cobra is probably my favourite of them all, a fantastic version of the movie music (pretty much the only good thing about the C64 version).

Re: Change one thing?

A slighly richer colour palette on the C64, and two more sound channels on the Amiga. That's about it :)
