Re: Save our forum!
it's hardly surprising this forum is in decline with people constantly being jerks for the sake of being jerks on here. it probably stops a lot of people hanging around or even registering as they assume they won't get a decent discussion when people respond like 5 year olds. I can't even remember t...

this guys opinion on the original xbox
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSmPGhxVu0E personally I don't hate the original xbox, I have mentioned in the thread on here how I like it, but I do really appreciate this guys perspective (in fact he doesn't hate it either). I agree with a lot he says here, I think more than anything he dislikes w...

Re: SNES Mini Announced
a lot of annoyed gamers in the states in regards to the snes mini, promises from nintendo about how it would be different than the nes mini classic but so far not materialising (lets hope they have more stock long term) apparently it went up for pre orders at 2am.... from what I can tell from a lot ...

Re: Fire Emblem
Funnily enough I have been thinking very seriously about buying FE: Awakening . Though currently I'm leaning against it. I've never played a Fire Emblem game before, and I understand Awakening was designed to be accessible for newcomers, but the fundmentals don't appeal to me. I get people gushing ...

Re: do you buy dvds
yea, I usually browse the dvd section of charity shops and see what's there. sometimes I find the odd thing which I am not expecting to find and if it's a film I thought was memorable, rewatchable or had a soundtrack I enjoyed I might pick it up.

I gave this a whirl recently, the sound effects in this game and general sound design is quite memorable. brought back a few memories!

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
started watching "mr nice" the other night, it's pretty good so far. I have heard a lot about the book in the past that it's kind of based on, apparently a bit of a classic.

Re: PlayStation games backwards compatibility
yea ps2 is the way to go, if you use places like freecycle and provided you have transport you may be able to pick a ps2 up for free from someone giving them away, or just keep an eye on your local classifieds, free ads, the games and consoles are incredibly cheap right now.

Re: Recording PS3/360 Gameplay Footage
I used easycap years back for the ps3 but this was for recording rather than streaming, it worked and is pretty cheap if you just want a video file capture and aren't fussed about anything else. you'll need a laptop or desktop and you won't get amazing quality from it and I am a bit unsure if its st...

looks like US customers got screwed by walmart; https://www.theverge.com/2017/7/26/16040506/walmart-nintendo-snes-classic-mini-console-preorder-cancellations Walmart confirmed today that it will in fact be canceling all of those SNES Classic preorders it accidentally accepted last week when the prod...

woot!! managed to get both version 1 of cloud and bayonetta. I really was hoping it was ff7 cloud and not advent children cloud so I am chuffed about that. bayonetta, I like both in different ways so it didn't matter so much there.
