Re: For the Frog the Bell Tolls - Nintendo RPG now in englis

I'm sure there's a reference to For the Frog the Bell Tolls somewhere in a Zelda game? I've seen that phrase written down somewhere before. Perhaps just on another Zelda blog or something.

Re: Most featured Film star in games?

In the same sense as Vinnie Jones, is it perhaps a bit of a cheat to include The Rock for all the wrestling games he's been in? Or would he only count if they turned his movies into games?

Re: Bleak moments in games

I always liked the sense of remoteness in the Metroid games, especially in the original one on the NES. Feels like you're lost in a surreal labyrinth. I had similar feelings watching Logan's Run. I quite like that feeling of complete abandonment. Turok Dinosaur Hunter was good for that too. The late...

Re: wrestling

Apparently Punk's shoot was essentially a work. Or, more a shoot that they allowed to happen. WWE Officials told Punk to go out and explain why he was leaving the company, and they would cut him off if it got too heavy, which it did. It wasn't scripted but it was 'under control' shall we say. Was M...

Bleak moments in games

Which games, or moments from games would you say were the bleakest or most grim? Created the strongest sensation of despair, or left you feeling helpless or marooned? #Spoilers# Red Faction - After your 'man in the ear piece' Hendrix is killed and you have to go it alone with no guidance or contact....

Re: Stand out moments

Red Faction - Your 'man in the earpiece' Hendrix turning against you then having to kill him and continue on alone. What? That never happened to me. On my playthrough he ends up getting blown to pieces when hes hacking a terminal thats been boobytrapped by masako and her mercanaries. Mmm, well that...

Re: Stand out moments

#Spoilers# Super Mario 64 - Seeing it in Comet and picking up the pad and resuming play. Mind blown by the 3D graphics. Wandering round the castle and taking a dip in the water was incredible. Red Faction - Your 'man in the earpiece' Hendrix turning against you then having to kill him and continue o...

Re: Do you get the ZELDA love?

Objectively, I can't see how the game could be valued at less than 90 odd percent. You don't have to be a fanboy to see that.
